Our counselling services are designed to support children and youth who are facing challenges in their daily lives. We believe that every young person has unique strengths and abilities, and we are committed to helping them enhance their skills and achieve their goals.

We utilize a strength-based and solution-focused framework in our work with young people, focusing on their existing strengths and building on them to overcome challenges. Whether the challenge is related to ADHD, anxiety, self-esteem, peer relationships, anger management, or other areas, we are here to provide compassionate and effective support.

Our counselling approach is tailored to each individual’s unique needs, drawing from a range of evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities. We strive to create a safe and supportive environment where young people can feel heard, understood, and empowered to make positive changes in their lives

With virtual counselling, you can receive the support you need from the comfort of your own home, without having to worry about transportation, parking, or other logistics. It’s a flexible and convenient way to access counselling that works around your busy schedule. Virtual counselling services are currently available throughout the province of Ontario.

In-person counselling is available within Barrie and surrounding areas. Counselling within the community (at a library, coffee shop, going for a walk etc.) are offered.

Virtual and in-person sessions are 50 minutes each. Virtual sessions are $95, in-person sessions are $105.

ADHD and Executive Functioning Skills Coaching (virtual or in-person)

ADHD is a subject that’s near and dear to our hearts. We have both personal (lived) and professional experience with ADHD, and we understand the unique challenges that individuals with this condition may face.

As an ADHD coach who is also neurodivergent, we have a deep understanding of how ADHD brains operate. This means that we can offer our clients unique and creative strategies to help them overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.

We believe that every individual with ADHD has unique strengths and abilities, and we are committed to helping individuals discover and develop these strengths using neurodiversity-affriming practices. Whether you’re a young person or an adult, we are here to support you on your journey of growth and blooming. Our goal is to empower our clients to thrive and achieve their full potential, both personally and professionally.

Our ADHD and executive functioning skills coaching services are grounded in the most current and accurate research. We work closely with our clients to understand their unique challenges and goals, and then develop customized strategies to help them achieve success.

Our coaching techniques focus on enhancing executive functioning skills including, task initiation, time management, focus, and attention, and more. We use evidence-based approaches that have been proven effective for individuals with ADHD and executive functioning skill challenges.

Our goal is to help our clients build on their existing strengths and overcome obstacles in their lives. With our ADHD and executive functioning skills coaching services, you can expect to see real progress and positive changes in your daily life.

We understand that accessing support for ADHD and executive functioning skills can be challenging, especially in today’s climate. That’s why we offer our coaching services through virtual meetings, which can be accessed from anywhere in the province of Ontario.

Virtual coaching sessions offer a convenient and effective way to receive support and guidance. With our expert coaching services, you can access the help you need from the comfort of your own home.

We also understand that many individuals prefer in-person meetings and we are happy to accommodate those requests.

Virtual and in-person coaching sessions are 50-55 minutes. Virtual coaching sessions are $110, and in-person coaching sessions are $120.

Group Coaching (only virtual for 2023-2024 school year) WE ARE AT CAPACITY!

Our group coaching service is designed for both high school youth aged 14-18, and post-secondary aged youth, 19-24 years old, providing a supportive environment where they can explore the impact of ADHD on their daily lives and learn various strategies to cope with its challenges. By connecting with others of a similar age group and experiencing similar struggles, young people feel empowered to make positive changes. Each weekly meeting provides an opportunity for group members to share their struggles and experiences, as well as discuss weekly topics such as managing emotions, self-advocacy, goal planning, budgeting, and other relevant areas. Our coaching groups are kept small with a maximum of 8 participants per group, ensuring personalized attention and support.

We provide convenient virtual meetings that can be accessed through any electronic device without the need to download any software.

ADHD Caregivers Coaching and Supportive Services (virtual or in-person)

As a caregiver (parent/guardian) of a young person with ADHD, you may face challenges that require unique parenting strategies. The emotions surrounding an ADHD diagnosis can be overwhelming, especially when compounded by other needs such as anxiety or learning difficulties. At In Bloom Support Services, we offer guidance, practical strategies, and successful solutions to help your family navigate these challenges.

We offer Caregivers Coaching and Supportive Services to provide parents and guardians with the tools and strategies needed to support their ADHD children and youth. Our coaching sessions focus on strengthening parent/guardian-child (and sibling) relationships, communication, and self-care for the adult. We use evidence-based practices and a person-centered approach to ensure that parents and guardians feel heard, validated, and supported. Coaching sessions are conducted virtually throughout the province of Ontario, or in person within Simcoe County (Innisfil, Barrie, south Springwater and surrounding areas).

Virtual coaching and supportive services sessions are $125 for 55 minutes.

Skill-Builders Crew Workshops and Groups (virtual or in-person)

Our Skill Builders Crew groups provide a safe and caring environment for young people to participate in a series of skill-building, social-emotional learning, and mental wellness sessions. Through fun, engaging, interactive, and multi-sensory approaches, we work to enhance young people’s pre-existing knowledge, and support new skills and concepts for all abilities. These groups involve other young people who can relate to each other’s experiences and provide a sense of community.

We welcome all residents of Ontario to participate in our virtual groups and workshops.

Document Review & Recommendations

We now offer a document review, with written feedback, and recommendations service. We will review various support documents by request, such as IEP’s, safety plans, behaviour plans, and more. A thorough review of all requested documents, with feedback and recommendations (if required), will start at only $60.
